The Cottages:
No comfort has been overlooked in the construction of The Cottages at Kure Beach Resort. The Banana Cabana, Cosmopolitan, Group Therapy and Prescription Pad Cottages are 2,500 - 3200 square foot, 3-story, oceanfront cottages, each with 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths.

Each cottage can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. A gas fireplace, whirlpool tub, flat screen television, washer/dryer and garage are just a few of the amenities provided.

Guests staying in a Banana Cabana or a Prescription Pad Cottage enjoy exclusive use of their own private, ocean-front pool and spa. The Banana Cabana, Cosmopolitan and Group Therapy Cottages are equipped with private elevators.

Amenities:
Linens are provided with the rental of each unit.

To keep guests entertained while indoors, each cottage has cable television, a CD and DVD player, a great selection of board games, paperback books, CDs and DVDs, and wireless internet access.

Beach chairs and boogie boards are provided for the enjoyment of our guests. Surfboards, kayaks and personal watercrafts are available for rent.

If your idea of relaxation is enjoying a stress-relieving massage, you can reserve a 60 or 90-minute session with one of our licensed massage therapists. Massage sessions can be scheduled in the cottage, on the ocean side balcony or on the beach.

Dining:
Our Fun in the Sun meal plan includes breakfast every morning of your visit with the exception of checkout day. A gourmet breakfast including breads, bagels, and biscuits with jams and jellies, eggs and breakfast meats, as well as fresh fruit salad, orange juice and coffee, is delivered to each cottage (additional cost).

For other meals, the elegantly designed gourmet kitchen in your cottage is equipped with everything you need to work culinary magic. Don't feel like cooking? Our select restaurant guide offers a variety of dining choices.

Beverage carts stocked with soft drinks, wine and beer are available for delivery to your cottage.

Adult guests of the Cottages at Kure Beach Resort are encouraged to use the Smart Strength Fitness Center facilities (fee required) and the Town of Kure Beach Parks and Recreation Department offers playgrounds, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts for guests of all ages (no fee).

Local Attractions:
Pleasure Island proudly offers many activities for our guests to enjoy. The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is a 93,000 square foot aquarium, which showcases the plants and animals of the Cape Fear region's rivers, swamps, estuaries, beaches and ocean. The aquarium offers daily dive shows, live animal presentations, a touch pool, a large ocean tank, and a half-acre freshwater conservatory. Don't leave without visiting the gift shop.

The Fort Fisher State Historic Site offers a 1/4-mile tour trail that encircles the remains of the fort. Educational exhibit panels are featured as well as a restored gun emplacement. The visitor center and restrooms are easily accessible.

The Boardwalk of Carolina Beach is a step back in time, featuring souvenir shops, arcades, doughnut and ice cream stands and nightclubs. Weekly summer gazebo concerts are fun for the whole family.

The Kure Beach and Carolina Beach Fishing Piers provide ample tackle shops, arcades and grills as well as some of the best fishing around.

The Winner Fishing and Cruise Boats provide a variety of boating options from high-speed catamarans to 400-passenger dinner cruise vessels.

Book a charter boat with the Carolina Beaches Elite Charter Boat Companies: Large Time Charters, Musicman Charters, Hot Ticket Charters, Blue Marlin Charters, Carolina Explorer Charters, Fish Dance Charters and Reel Adventure Charters. All are available to take you to the big fish. Parking is available.

The Carolina Beach Lake is an 11-acre lakefront recreation area, which offers gazebos, picnic areas, restrooms and playgrounds for great family fun. Kayaks, pedal boats, and barracuda water bikes are available for rent.

Transportation:
Limousine or taxi service to and from Wilmington International Airport is available. Rental cars, bicycles or beach buggies can also be rented for your convenience while visiting Pleasure Island. Ample guest parking is provided at The Cottages at Kure Beach Resort. Parking passes will be issued and must be displayed at all times while parking on the resort property.
